Giving Girls a Second Chance to Complete Secondary Education

Scholarship Opportunity for Girls Who Dropped Out of School

Simuka AfriLearn Organization is pleased to announce the Back-to-School Scholarship Program 2026, an initiative designed to support girls across Malawi who were forced to discontinue their secondary education due to financial challenges, family circumstances, or other barriers.

The program aims to give deserving girls a second opportunity to return to school and complete their secondary education from Form 1 to Form 4.

Education is a powerful tool for transforming lives, empowering communities, and creating opportunities for young people to become self-reliant. Through this scholarship, Simuka AfriLearn Organization is committed to removing financial barriers that prevent girls from achieving their educational dreams.

Scholarship Coverage

The selected beneficiaries will receive comprehensive educational support, including:

? School Registration Fees
Payment of required school registration and enrollment fees to enable successful admission back into secondary school.

? Tuition Fee Support
Coverage of school tuition fees to ensure that selected girls can continue learning without interruption due to financial difficulties.

? Exercise Books and Learning Materials
Provision of essential exercise books and academic materials required for effective classroom participation.

? School Uniforms
Support with school uniforms to help students return to school with confidence, dignity, and a sense of belonging.

Number of Scholarships Available

The scholarship will support only:

50 Girls Across Malawi

The selection process will prioritize girls who demonstrate:

* A strong desire to return to school and complete secondary education.
* Financial challenges that prevented them from continuing their studies.
* Commitment to education and personal development.
* Good conduct and willingness to work hard academically.

Eligible Applicants

Applicants must:

* Be a girl currently living in Malawi.
* Have previously attended secondary school but dropped out.
* Wish to return to school in **September 2026**.
* Be eligible to enroll in **Form 1, Form 2, Form 3, or Form 4**.
* Demonstrate genuine need for educational support.
* Be willing to complete secondary education.

Interested candidates or guardians should submit an application containing:

1. Applicant's full name and contact details.
2. Previous school attended.
3. Class/form last completed.
4. Reason for leaving school.
5. Preferred school for re-enrollment.
6. A brief explanation of why they want to return to school.
